Parenting today’s youth can be a challenging task. An especially challenging task is developing ways to teach your child the value of a dollar. What we, as parents, teach our children about money lays the foundation for their financial success. It is extremely important that you start to teach your child the value of a dollar at a very young age. The first step that you can take to teach your child the value of a dollar is to instill in them a sense of appreciation for the small things in life. It has been found that children with a lack of appreciation for small things have grown into adults that have financial issues.
